Colonel Crawford FFA news Chapter goes to district evaluations

On Friday, Feb. 8 the Colonel Crawford/ Pioneer FFA Chapter traveled to Lorain County JVS, for district evaluations. District evaluations is an all day event that checks officer's books, state and FFA degree's for errors. They are then sent to the state department to be judged.

Treasurer's book completed by Becky Guinther received a silver rating, the Secretary's book completed by Sammy Guinther received a silver rating, and the Reporter's book, which is a scrap book of FFA activities and pictures, was completed by Andrea Cole and Sammy Guinther received a gold rating and third place over all.

The state FFA degree is the highest degree that the state can confer upon a member, those of which will be receiving their degrees in May at the State FFA. The state FFA degrees were taken by Nick Kocher, Ben Rossman, Jessica Bogard, Mitch Alt, and Doug Cramer. We would like to congratulate all the FFA members who took their time to fill out their books and doing a great job.
