Six of the chapter's first year members traveled nearly four hours to Ohio FFA Camp Muskingum in late September to participate in Greenhand Camp. This was the second year in a row the chapter had members attend Greenhand Camp.

Those attending included Richard McBrien, Sadie Tracy, Kim Simons, Hayden Corbin, Lucas Gonyer and Nicholas Nungester.

While at camp, attendees learned how to set goals, met state officers, engaged in a variety of recreational activities, enjoyed a dance, and participated in group activities. Each member was sponsored by the chapter to attend.

On Sept. 26, the chapter completed some community service by providing a pedal pull event at the Fostoria youth safety day. The event gave area youth the opportunity to try out their leg strength by pulling a weighted sled with a pedal tractor.

Assisting with the Fostoria event were Trisha Cassidy, Taylor Murphy, Jessica Myers, Lindsey Heller, Jessica McKenzie, Justin Barndt, Amanda Peters, Grant Harrison and Josh Nutter.

Presently several chapter members are preparing to travel to Indianapolis, Ind., for the FFA National Convention.
