FFA students present Food for America program

Recently 20 members of the Bellevue Chapter of the National FFA Organization participated in the Food For America Program. This program was introduced to increase public awareness of agriculture and where our food comes from. The Bellevue FFA members took animals and agricultural products to the elementary schools in the Bellevue area. They spoke to kindergarten through third grade students. Each FFA member told about their product and answered any questions the kids had.

Cody Rine, Heather Carbary, lamb; Melanie Kreglow, goat; Travis Keegan, meat chicken; Laura Miller, egg chicken; Cody Ziegler, dairy calf; Tyler Sanders, beef calf; Erin Englehart, small pony; Courtney Norman, rabbit; Nicole Steinmetz, cats; Cody Klutz, duck; Dustin Branco, guinea; Grant Decker, grain for the animals; Emily Miller, novelty chicken; Janaye Decker, guinea pig; Kraig Jenks, turkey; Tyler Brake, bantam; Eric Eberhard, market lamb.
