Church building could be razed
On September 11, 1999, The Holy Place (a non-profit Christian ministry) acquired the former Swanton Missionary Church building, located at Church Street and Lincoln Avenue in Swanton, through auction.
After nearly eight years of ministry, the building was struck by lightning in the summer of 2007. The fire and water damage were severe.
We have decided that rebuilding the existing structure is not economically prudent, said Brad Bloomer. In the very near future, the building will be razed. Anyone interested in acquiring this property should contact Brad at (419) 385-6604 as soon as possible.
