Dessert contest
Students in grades 6-12 are invited to enter Swanton Public Library's Best Chocolate Dessert Contest. The name of the dessert must include the word chocolate. Entrants should provide enough dessert to serve 24 people. T
he recipe can be baked, cooked or just assembled. Bring your entries along with the recipe to the library on Saturday, Sept. 13 by 1 p.m.
The judges will be pre-selected by the teen librarian prior to the event. The desserts will be judged on taste (14 points.), appearance (9 points), difficulty (5 points), neat/accurate written or printed recipe (2 points.) for a possible total of 30 points.
