Dessert contest
Students in grades 6-12 are invited to enter Swanton Public Library's Best Chocolate Dessert Contest. The name of the dessert must include the word chocolate. Entrants should provide enough dessert to serve 24 people.
The recipe can be baked, cooked or just assembled. Bring your entries along with the recipe to the library on Saturday, Sept. 13 by 1 p.m.
The judges will be pre-selected by the teen librarian prior to the event. The desserts will be judged on taste (14 points.), appearance (9 points), difficulty (5 points), neat/accurate written or printed recipe (2 points.) for a possible total of 30 points.
