No Dogs advance in CC

BETTSVILLE - Swanton's Ric Roe just missed qualifying for the regional meet at Saturday's Division II district cross country meet at H.P. Eells Park on Saturday.

Roe finished 19th overall for the Bulldogs. The top 16 individuals advance.

As a team the Bulldogs were 10th. Eastwood won the district.

Also for Swanton, Cain Leathers was 40th, Andy Ferner was 53rd, Kenny Williams was 61st and Joe Geise was 72nd.

The Bulldog girls participated in the Division III meet at Ottawa. They placed 10th as a team, as NWOAL champion Liberty Center won the team title.

Kourtney Cousino led Swanton with a 42nd place finish. Jessica Worley was 48th, Andrea Schroeder 52nd, Chelsea Martinez 58th and Julie Taylor 60th.
