Herrick Happenings for Oct. 27
The Herrick Memorial Library's events are held in the community room of the library. To register or for more information call 647-2120.
* Fall Floral Display: Join in for a hands-on demonstration with Liz Hook from Hook's Greenhouse, on how to form dried floral arrangements for the fall season. Bring your own container to form your personal display. Class with be held on Wednesday, Oct. 28 from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. There is a $5 fee for supplies, and registration is a must.
* Graveyard Walk: Tuesday, Nov. 3 from 4 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. Participants, age 10 to 17, should meet the library staff at Greenwood Cemetery at the front entrance where they will visit some of the residents of Wellington's past with the help of Linda Navarre. Tour the grave of Archibald Willard, look for the oldest tombstone and play graveyard activities. Registration is required .
* Playdates: Mondays at 10:30 a.m. beginning Nov. 2 through Dec. 7. Two and three year olds will meet in the community room of the library where they will have a chance to socialize and interact with other families. There is no need to register but if you have questions contact Kathi at the library.
