Sponsors made race a success

To the editor:

I would like to thank everyone for their help with the Race to Australia 5K and 1-mile Fun Run of July 4. Thank you to the Lorain County Metro Parks for allowing us to use their facility and helping with setting up the race route, the Wellington Fire Fighters Association for providing EMT services, and Main Street Wellington, Inc. for posting the registration form on their website.

I would also like to thank the following businesses for their generous donations: Edward Jones, Motivational Plaques, Village Market and the American Legion Post 8.

I would also like to thank members of St. Patrick Church and runners who participated in the race. The pilgrims truly appreciate their support.
