Letters of thanks
Donations help our students
To the editor:
I would like to publicly thank the organizations throughout our small community for the kind generosity each has shown the Wellington school libraries. The Wellington Women's League donated $612 to purchase a printer for the high school lab and some much-needed headsets for the McCormick Middle School lab. The American Legion donated $500 to purchase five online reference databases for our high school students, and the Wellington Endowment has donated $1,600 to the Judy Reed Memorial Library for the set-up fee and use of the entire Renaissance Learning database of Accelerated Reader quizzes for the fourth and fifth graders next year.
Once again, thank you for this generosity and understanding. It truly does make a difference in the lives of many students.

Anniversary party was golden
To the editor:
We would like to express sincere appreciation to our children and grandchildren for honoring us with a 50th wedding anniversary party. Thank you all for the time and effort they put into the celebration.
We also want to thank all our family and friends for being there to join in the festivities. And thanks to those who were unable to attend but sent their good wishes.
We feel truly blessed. Thank you to all.
