Frances Ruth Fisher, 77, of Vienna, Va., died Sunday, June 8, 2008 at home after a short illness.

She was born Feb. 4, 1931 in Cleveland to the late Carl Garrison and Mary Rice Garrison.

Mrs. Fisher was married to the late Herbert Fisher of Wellington. She attended Huntington School and graduated in 1949 from Wellington High School. She was a homemaker and community giver.

Survivors include a son, Herbert Fisher of Vienna, Va. and a sister Marilyn Carter of Hendersonville, N.C.
