Oney

Robert J. Oney, 86, died Friday, July 4, 2008 in Lakewood, Ohio, after a long illness. He was born in Wellington on April 23, 1922, son of the late Earnest and Ethel (Godfield). He was a veteran of WWII.

Mr. Oney is survived by sons Kevin T. (Mary) and Joseph P. (Linda); grandchildren Jennifer, Ryan, Kathryn, Robyn and Erin; great-grandchildren Maxwell and Cameron; brothers Charles of Wellington and Earnest (Helen) of Croton-on-Hudson, N.Y. He was preceded in death by his wife Wilma; parents; brother Richard; sister Rachael, and a grandson, Shawn.

Interment is at Brooklyn Heights Cemetery in Cleveland.
