Holts married 50 years

Dwight and Elaine (Stanton) Holt will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary June 15, 2008. The couple met while Mrs. Holt was a student at Ohio State and married at Dowling Methodist Church in Dowling, Mich., on June 15, 1958. They currently reside in Wellington.

Mr. Holt is a semi-retired, part-time farmer. He enjoys traveling and genealogy.

Mrs. Holt retired from Allen Memorial Hospital in 1998 after 35 years. She enjoys traveling, cooking, quilting and being a grandmother. The couple are active members in their church.

Mr. and Mrs. Holt are the parents of David and Ardis Edmondson-Holt of Worthington, Ohio, Karen Holt of Alexandria, Ohio, and Michael (Andrea) Holt. They are the proud grandparents of six grandchildren.

In honor of their anniversary, their children will be hosting an open house buffet celebration on Saturday, July 19, from 1:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the Camden Township Hall. The hall is located at the corner of State Routes 303 and 511. No gifts are requested but guests may bring canned goods or non-perishable grocery items for the local food bank.
