Sheffields mark 50th anniversary
Jim and Lora (Heath) Sheffield will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary on June 14, 2008. The couple were married at the bride's home in Penfield on June 14, 1958 and currently reside in Wellington.
Mr. Sheffield is the owner/operator of Jaloda Dairy Farm. He enjoys coaching 4-H, dairy cattle judging team, and watching sports, especially the Wellington Dukes football and basketball teams.
Mrs. Sheffield is a homemaker and is active in the choir along with other activities at the Pittsfield Community Church.
Mr. and Mrs. Sheffield are the parents of Dan Sheffield and Dale Sheffield, both of Pittsfield, Dave Sheffield of Kennesaw, Ga., Daren Sheffield of Hinsdale, N.H., and Darcy Klier of Pittsfield. They have 11 grandchildren.
In celebration of their anniversary there will be an open house at the Pittsfield Town Hall on Sunday, June 15 from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. The couple requests no gifts, your presence will be their present.
