Meet The Band for Oct. 27: Sara Mull

This week we feature senior Sara Mull, the daughter of David and Tammy Mull. Sara plays the alto saxophone and is a member of the marching, concert, jazz, and pep bands. She has also participated in solo ensemble contest and after-school lessons. She is the president of the band this year and was the secretary last year.

Sara's most memorable band moment was watching a fellow band member's brother run across a four-lane highway to deliver his instrument right before a state competition performance. Sara recommends the band program because, "It's a great learning experience, helps you grow as an individual and teaches you how to work in a group, all while making life-long friends and countless unforgettable memories!"

Sara is also a member of French Club, Civil War Club, National Honor Society, and Pittsfield Church Youth Group. She plans on attending Case Western to earn a bachelor of science in nursing. She would like to thank her parents, everyone in the band, Mrs. Novotny and Mrs. Hughes for always supporting her.
