Fullbackers host football camp; plan July 12 golf outing here

The Wellington Fullbackers will be hosting their second annual Youth Football Camp July 7 through July 11 at the Dukes Football Stadium. The camp will start each day at 11 a.m. and end at 1 p.m. and is open to all boys living in the Wellington school district entering grades three through eight this fall. The cost for the camp is $30 per player which includes a camp T-shirt and admission to all home varsity games this fall. The camp will be conducted with the assistance of the Dukes varsity coaching staff and players. Those who want to register can contact Tim Wulfhoop at 647-4530 or Wulfhoop@verison.net.

On Saturday, July 12 the Wellington Fullbackers will host their eighth annual golf outing at Echo Valley Golf Course. Tee time is 8 a.m. Cost is $300 per foursome or $75 per golfer.

Fee includes coffee and donuts, 18 holes with cart, skins game, sandwiches at turn, ribs and chicken dinner (Big Dog) and beverages throughout the day. Prizes are $400 for first place, $200 for second place and $100 for third place. There will also be a chance to win a two-year lease for a hole-in-one on a selected hole.
