Teen builds amphitheater for his Eagle Scout project

Troop 118 of LaGrange has announced Bryan M. Fox has reached the rank of Eagle Scout.

Fox, the son of Michael and Donna Fox of Wellington, was awarded his Eagle on Aug. 5 and was formally awarded his Eagle badge Sept. 5. during his Eagle Scout Court of Honor. Fox is a talented Scout and has dedicated many hours to his community and troop including more than 500 hours on his Eagle Scout project. He designed, planned and managed the construction of a new amphitheater stage at Findley State Park.

He has been the senior patrol leader for the troop for the past three years and has helped the troop grow through his leadership and dedication.

Fox has managed to balance his scout work with sports, academics, band, work, and family. He plans to continue his work with the troop as a junior assistant scoutmaster to further develop his leadership abilities.
