Dukes band performs at Disney World

The Wellington High School band recently performed at Walt Disney World. The band marched at Epcot and also worked with a Disney entertainment specialist in the recording studio at Epcot.

The trip included admission into Animal Kingdom, Hollywood Studios, Downtown Disney and the Magic Kingdom. Students from both the high school's band and wind ensemble participated along with several McCormick Middle School eighth graders.

The following WHS students participated in the Pac-10 honors band last week at Clearview. The students combined their efforts with fellow Pac-10 school members. WHS students participating include Abigail Conklin, Steven Garn, Lindsey Pitts, Adrienne Cowhick, Brandon Smith, Sarah Brooks, Haley Loudin and Don Hartman.

The following seventh and eighth grade band members recently represented MMS at the county honors' concert held on April 22 at Keystone: Joe Butti, Emily McKenzie, Kylie Ziegler, Daniel Parsons, Max Diedrick, Bradley Bement, Calvin Conklin, Victoria Reisinger and Catie Brasee.
