(Because the recipe is "top secret," no amounts are listed - but have fun trying to re-create this award-winning chili!)

venison burger, browned in bacon fat

stalk of celery, coarsely chopped

small onion, coarsely chopped

green pepper, coarsely chopped

Hungarian hot pepper

mild banana peppers, coarsely chopped

fresh mushrooms, coarsely chopped

cloves of garlic, crushed

sliced stewed tomatoes, undrained

dark red kidney beans, undrained

tomato paste

Tabasco sauce

chili powder

cayenne pepper

cumin pepper

crushed red pepper

celery salt

black pepper

brown sugar

Combine all above ingredients in a four-quart crock pot, or cook very slowly over stove for 1 to 2 hours. Preferably refrigerate and serve next day.
