Cremeans
Margaret Louise Cremeans, 68, died Tuesday, Sept. 9, 2008 at Allen Medical Center following a short illness.
She was born July 1, 1940 in Portsmouth, Ohio, to the late Harley and Minnie (Reed) Barrett. She was a resident of Wellington since 1949.
Ms. Cremeans was a homemaker who enjoyed collecting items at flea markets and antique stores.
Survivors include her three children, Ronald E. (Charletta) Caswell, Jr. and Richard W. (Karen) Caswell, both of Wellington, and Charlene Caswell of Cleveland; three grandchildren, Desiree Sugg, and Alecia and Aaron Caswell, and three great-grandchildren, Cassidy, Aden and Michael. She was preceded in death by a sister, Sandra K. Barrett.
Friends were received on Sept. 11 at Norton-Eastman Funeral Home in Wellington where funeral services were held Friday with Rev. Lea Mahan officiating. Burial followed at Greenwood Cemetery. Condolences may be expressed online at www.norton-eastmanfuneralhome.com.

Plas
Ted J. Plas, 73, of Wellington died Aug. 24, 2008 at Welcome Nursing Home in Oberlin after a long illness.
He was born Nov. 7, 1934 in Carlisle Township. He had lived in the Wellington area since 1977.
Mr. Plas was a 1952 graduate of Elyria Catholic High School. He was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church in Wellington. He retired in 1999 after 45 years of service in the Plumbers Local 42 and enjoyed spending time with his family, hunting and watching the Cleveland Browns.
Mr. Plas is survived by his wife of 35 years, Diane (Slessman) Plas; daughters Shelley Plas of Hudson, and Christy (Zach) Summers of Columbus; son, Jeff (Heidi) Plas of Jeromesville; seven grandchildren; brother, Al (June) Plas of LaGrange; sister, Jean (John) Sittinger-Valenti of Elyria.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Edward and Mary Faulkner Plas and brothers, Edward, Arthur, Donnie and Denny Plas.
Funeral services were held on Aug. 30 at St. Patrick Catholic Church with Father James Reymann officiating. A private burial at St. Mary's Cemetery in Elyria will take place at a later date.
