Peter

Muraco

Peter Muraco, 92, died Sept. 27, 2008 at Welcome Nursing Home in Oberlin.

He was a lifelong resident of Cleveland and a World War II Army veteran.

He is survived by his children Paul (Katy) of South Carolina and Mary Janet (Fred) McConnell of Wellington; grandchildren Michael, Monica (Kevin) Sferro, Sarah and Melissa and great- grandson Zachary. He was an uncle and great-uncle to many.

He was preceded in death by his wife Martha (Brancatelli) Muraco; brother, Anthony; sisters Rose Del Brocco and Helen (Joseph) Cantele.

Friends were received Sept. 30 at Sauer's Funeral Home. Mass of Christian Burial was held Oct. 1 at St. Thomas More Church, 4170 N. Amber Lane with interment at Holy Cross Cemetery.

The family suggests contributions to the Alzheimer's Association, 12200 Fairhill Rd. Cleveland, Ohio 44120 in Martha and Peter's names.

Robert Lynn

Trimble, Jr.

Robert Lynn Trimble, Jr., 53, of Wakeman died Monday, Sept. 29, 2008 at Stein Hospice in Sandusky following a lengthy illness.

Born in Sharon, Pa., on Oct. 5, 1954, he lived in Lexington, Ky., as a child. His family later moved to Oberlin where he graduated from Oberlin High School in 1972.

Mr. Trimble was a carpenter who was a member of the Local Carpenter's Union #212. His carpentry work included remodeling Giant Eagles and rebuilding the New Union Center for the Arts in Oberlin. He was a member of the Wellington VFW 6941, the Wellington American Legion Post 8, and the Wellington Eagles Aerie 2051. He enjoyed gardening, cooking and especially rebuilding guns.

Survivors include his wife of 30 years, Edna; six children, Adrienne (Solomon) Jackson of Columbus, Ramona (David) Skiver of Milan, Lisa (Pete) Mycek of Spencer, Raymond (Jessie) Fleming of Wellington, Robert Lynn (Rachel) Trimble III of Wellington, Samuel (Trisha) Trimble of Wellington and 16 grandchildren. He is also survived by his parents, Robert and Anna Trimble, Sr. of Marionville, Pa., and two sisters, Penny Pozgay of South Dakota and Joan Gleason of Oberlin.

Funeral services were held Oct. 3 at Norton-Eastman Funeral Home in Wellington. Rev. Lea Mahan officiated the service.
