Rodak, Sumpter wed at April ceremony

Megan Rodak and David Sumpter were married in a double ring ceremony on April 5, 2008 at St. Patrick Catholic Church by Rev. James Reymann.

The bride is the daughter of Barb and Mike Rodak of LaGrange. The groom is the son of Pat and Jack Sumpter of Hoopeston, Ill.

The maid of honor and sister of the bride was Rachael Anderson. Bridesmaids were friends of the bride, Kelly Maley and Betsy Hook. Emma and Dana Sumpter, nieces of the groom, were flower girls.

The best man and brother of the groom was Daniel Sumpter. Ushers, school friends of the groom, were Scott Shumaker and Nicholas Rosemark. Ring bearer was Noah Sumpter, nephew of the groom.

Harp selections by Rebecca Burkhardt were performed during the wedding.

After the ceremony, a reception was held for 200 guests at Wagner Country Inn in Westlake.

The new Mrs. Sumpter is a 2000 Keystone High School graduate. She is currently an asset protection co-coordinator for Wal-Mart.

Mr. Sumpter is a 1994 Wellington High School graduate. He is attending Marion Technical College in Marion, Ohio. He is employed by Firelands Electric Cooperative in New London, as an apprentice lineman.

The couple honeymooned in Monterey, Calif. They now reside in Wellington.
