LC Visitors Bureau earns RUBY award
The Lorain County Visitors Bureau was honored by the Ohio Travel Association during its annual conference on tourism, Oct. 23, in Canton. LCVB was the recipient of a Ruby Award Citation of Excellence in the category of Guide/Planner for the Adventure & Visitor Info Guide to Lorain County. They were also finalists in the Print Advertisement category for their Fill Your Days with Adventure ad and the website category for www.visitloraincounty.com
The RUBY Awards, presented by Ohio Magazine, stand for Recognizing Uncommon Brilliance in the Travel and Tourism Industry. Destination marketing organizations, attractions and others from around the state were recognized for their accomplishments in advertising, marketing and public relations as it relates to tourism.
This is the second year in a row the Lorain County Visitors Bureau was honored at the Ruby Awards. Last year the LCVB took home a Citation of Excellence award for their Back Roads and Beaches brochure.
