Schuster and Phares announce engagement

William and Pamela Schuster of Amherst are pleased to announce the engagement of their son, Matthew Schuster, to Sara Marie Phares, daughter of Donald and Gail Phares of East Canton, Ohio.

Matthew is a 2006 graduate of Amherst Marion Steele High School and a 2008 graduate of the Ohio State University ATI, where he earned an associate degree in turfgrass management. He is currently employed at Jack Nicklaus's private golf course, The Bear's Club in Jupiter, Fla., as a spray technician and assistant superintendent.

Sara is a 2006 graduate of East Canton High School and is currently a student at the Ohio State University pursuing a major in agricultural extension education and a minor in animal sciences.

Wedding plans are indefinite at this time.
