Elect family man Van Treuren

To the editor:

I am supporting Amherst council at-large candidate Phil Van Treuren, and want to encourage other voters to do the same.

I have met with the candidate and was very impressed by his dedication to his family and family values. I think that is very important at this time when there are so many kids who come from broken homes and are without the security of a father and mother in the home. He and his wife, Jessica, are the proud parents of three young children. Phil has said the reason he is running for office is to keep Amherst safe and beautiful for everyone's family. I am very impressed by his sincerity and feel he would be a great asset to Amherst city council.

Please vote for Phil Van Treuren and help put a good family man on Amherst city council.
