Cast at-large vote for Walters

To the editor:

I have had the pleasure of knowing Dennis Walters for more than 10 years. Dennis has 36 years of experience as a leader in education, both as a teacher and principal. He is known for his dedication and good work ethic. Dennis is a problem solver and result-oriented type of individual. He not only listens, but is a fine communicator.

In 2004 I appointed Dennis to serve on the city of Amherst's planning commission. He not only displayed good judgment as a member of the commission, but was a true asset. He now lends that good judgment to city council.

I enthusiastically endorse and support Dennis for council at-large.

Please cast your vote for Dennis Walters on Nov. 3.
