Falbo, Meyers wed on Key West beach

The south beach at the Southernmost Hotel in Key West, Fla., was the site for the wedding of Kelli Sue Meyers and John Michael Falbo. The beautiful ceremony took place overlooking the Atlantic ocean, during the evening on Saturday, Aug. 2, 2008.

Thirty friends and family gathered on the beach for the relaxed atmosphere. The bride wore a long white off the shoulder gown, and the other female guests were encouraged to dress in sunset colors. The groom wore a long sleeved tailored shirt with khaki pants, and encouraged the other male guests to dress in casual tropical wear. Afterward, a dinner reception was held at the hotel restaurant.

The bride is the daughter of Randy and Karen Meyers of Amherst. The groom is the son of John and Coleen Falbo of Lorain. Jami Yates served as the matron of honor, and the grooms two brothers, Joe and Dan Falbo, served as best men.

The couple are 1998 graduates of Marion L. Steele High School. The bride is employed as a registered nurse at the Cleveland Clinic. The groom is employed with the family business, Falbo Construction in Lorain. They currently reside in Avon Lake.

The celebration lasted four days, which included shopping and experiencing the nightlife along popular Duvall Street. A sunset cruise on the gulf waters highlighted Friday evening's rehearsal dinner.
