Church of God to honor widows

June is the month the Church of God across the United States has designated to recognize and honor the widows by conducting a special service for them.

The local Church of God, at 126 E. Buckeye St., has designated Sunday, June 29, as "Honor The Widows Sunday".

A special service has been planned with Sunday School beginning at 10 a.m.

After service all the widows in attendance will be treated to a meal at Ryan's Steak House in Fremont.

This service is open to any widow in the community and the church extends a warm invitation for them to attend.
