Flag Day Dedication

The Clyde Heritage League held a flag pole dedication at 10 a.m. Saturday at the Clyde Museum, on West Buckeye Street, in honor of retired curator Ralph Rogers, who attended with wife, Betty.

Candy Seaman, an officer of the league, presented Rogers with a U.S. flag, which had flown over the state capital. Rogers, a veteran, had received the flag over the winter from the Heritage League.

The flag was given an official raising by the local color guard as part of the Flag Day ceremony at the museum on June 14 and the pole dedication.

Members of the local color guard stood at attention during the ceremony.
