Four hurt in weekend crash

Four people were injured in a two-vehicle crash Saturday afternoon on U.S. 20 at CR 175.

The driver and the passenger of one vehicle were taken by two LifeFlight helicopters to area hospitals, according to the Ohio High Way Patrol.

Tammy Pesnell, 37, Clyde was eastbound on U.S. 20 in a 1997 Ford F-250 pickup when a car that was southbound on CR 175 failed to yield at the corner, according to an OSP report.

The truck then collided with a 1997 Hyundai at the intersection.

The driver of the car, Haley Krause, 20, Sandusky, was taken by St. Rita LifeFlight, the post reported. Hospital information was not available. One passenger, Emily Krause, 14, Sandusky was taken by ambulance to The Bellevue Hospital, and passenger Quentin Conway, 7 months, Sandusky, was taken by LifeFlight to Rainbows Children's Hospital, the post reported.

Pesnell also was taken by ambulance to The Bellevue Hospital. Conditions were not available on any of the crash victims. The OSP reported the accident remains under investigation.
