Man dies after cart accident
A rural Clyde man, who was injured Thursday in a golf cart accident on CR 181 in Green Creek Township, died Monday at the University of Toledo Medical Center.
Oliver Ott, 69, Clyde, was driving a 1962 Trip MMC golf cart at 4:23 p.m. June 12 westbound on CR 181 in the 2000 block when the steering went out of the cart, according a report at the Sandusky County Sheriff's office.
The cart crossed the road into the eastbound lane and overturned on Ott in the ditch on the eastbound side. Ott was pinned under the cart until he was rescued by two pedestrians. He was transported to The Bellevue Hospital by EMS, according to the sheriff's office report.
Ott died Monday at the University of Toledo Medical Center.
No information was available from The Bellevue Hospital.
