Rabbit Clinic results
The Wascally Wabbits 4-H Club held its annual spring clinic at the Sandusky County Fair Grounds in May. Category winners were:
Showmanship 9 and 10 years old: 1st, Levi Gerner, Wascally Wabbits; 2nd, Jessica Holland, Buring Daylight; 3rd, Devon Johnson, Rockin Wranglers.
Showmanship 11 and 12 years old: 1st, Alyssa Schwochow, Townsend Blue Ribbon Boys; 2nd Cinnamin Norris, Wascally Wabbits; and 3rd, Tyler Gerner, Wascally Wabbits.
Showmanship 12 and up: 1st, Brittnay Johnson, Rockin Wranglers; 2nd, Carly Young, Wascally Wabbits; and 3rd, Katie Frye, Townsend Blue Robbon Boys.
Breed Winners were: Minilop, Dawson Montgomery; Florida White, Chase Zimmerman; French lop, Devin Johnson; Checkered Giant, Zoey McQuiston; Havana, Taylor Waggoner; Harliquin, Kaytlyne Brant; New Zealand, Tyler Gerner; Mix, Sam Cassner; American Chin, Zoey McQuiston; Silver Martin, Alyssa Schwochow; Holland Lop, Jessical Holland; Netherland Dwarf, Christie Watkins; Lionhead, Tyler Gerner; Giant Chin, Katie Frye; Californian, Brittnay Johnson; Dutch, Caitlyn Norris; and MiniRex, Aaron Whitcomb.
Best of show went to Alyssa Schwochow, first, and Devon Johnson, second.
Burning Daylight
The Burning Daylight 4-H Club met at 5:30 p.m. May 11 at the Sandusky County Fairgrounds in Fremont.
the meeting was called to order by Adysan Gill. Treasurer Adrienne Smith reported on the club treasurer.
There were 33 members present answering to a roll call with 20 guests also present.
In new business, the club was reminded that all livestock people must attend a Quality Assurance meeting on May 20 or May 27.
Demonstrations were presented by Montana Smith, Reminton Smith and Jessica Holland.
