Clinton Lake mixed
The Clinton Lake Campground Wednesday Mixed League played at Green Hills Golf Course on June 18.
Scores were Stahl-Herr, 71; McMurtrie-Frederick, 60.5; Burton, 60.5; Beckley-Wyss, 58.5; Miller, 57.5; Miller-Hammons, 42.5; Beckley-Hull, 38.5; Arnold, 37.5; and Beckley, 29.
Low gross men went to Bob Miller, 44; low gross women, Kathy Burton, 58; low net men, Bob Miller, 34; and low net women, Sue McMurtrie, 41.
Tuesday couples
The Tuesday Couples League played at Green Hills Golf Course on June 17.The leading team was Ted and Sherry Boyer, 86.5.
Low gross men went to Steve Holman, 39; low gross women, Rita Baker, 47; low net men, Ted Boyer, 31; and low net women , Sarah Baughman, 34.
Monday ladies
The Monday Night Ladies League played at Sleepy Hollow Golf Course on June 16.
Scores were Marge Effinger, 27; Bobbie Gish and Mary Beth Ott, 24.5; Cindy Rich, 24; Shirley Haffey, 22.5; Linda Miller, 21.5; Sue Wilder, 17.5; Marla Mygrant, 15.5; Vonnie Maines, 12.5; Vicki Kritzel, 6; Janice Wiedle, 4.5.
Sue Wilder took low gross with a 41 and low net at 32.
Mary Beth Ott had aBirdie on hole No. 11. Play of the Day was longest putt on No. 15, won by Dinah Dwyer; and on No. 16 closest in 2 shots, won by Sue Wilder.
Ladies league
The Tuesday Ladies League played on June 17, at Green Hills Golf Course. Results were:
Low gross - 1st, Patty Wilkins, 92; 2nd, Elly Hahn, 98; 3rd, Sharon Feick, 120.
Low new - 1st, Sue Newsome, 80; 2nd Sue McMurtrie, 93.
Low putts - 1st, Elly Hahn and Patty Wilkins, 36; 2nd, Sue Newsome, 37; 3rd, Sharon Feick, 39.
Play of the day - Flag Day Tournament - 1st, Elly Hahn; 2nd, Patty Wilkins; 3rd, Sharon Feick.
Birdies - Patty Wilkins on No. 3.
Field prizes - Patty Wilkins on No. 5 and 14; Sue Newsome on No. 16; Sharon Feick on No. 18.
St. Francis outing
The St. Francis Guild had its 9th Annual Golf Outing on June 9, at Sycamore Hills Golf Course in Fremont. With 22 teams and plenty of sunshine, it was a huge success raising over $4,500. The winners this year were:
Flight A - 1st, Carolyn Kouble, Marge Effinger, Vickie Kritzell, Kathy McCool; 2nd, Vonnie Maines, Janet Scagnetti, Bonnie Mock, Linda Miller; 3rd, Sue Newman, Robin Bessire, Alice Heslet, Debbie Gallagher.
Flight B - 1st, Denise Barbour, Martha Darr, Linda Willis, Vickie Wright; 2nd, Evelyn Johnson, Nancy Ihnat, Sandy Schaffner, Connie Black; 3rd, Marge McGue, Carol Brown, Jadlynne Moyer, Peggi Miller.
After playing 18 holes, both first and second place winners in flight A shot a final score of 58. The third place winners ended up one over with a final score of 59. In flight B, the first place winners shot a 63; the second place winners shot a 65; and the third place winners shot a 66.
