UAW 913 vs Willard
UAW Local No. 913 beat Willard on June 12 in Clyde Pony league play, 8-2.
In 6th inning the Local 913 had a bases loaded double play to finish the inning. Turned by Jordan Colson, Mike Moore and Charlie Goodwin.
Pitching for Clyde were Joe Kinney, 4 innings, 5 strikeouts, 2 walks, 3 hits, 1 run; Brock Cooley, 2 innings, 2 walks, 2 hits, 1 run; Charlie Goodwin, 1 inning, 1 walk.
Pitching for Willard were Shorts, 3 innings, 2 strikeouts, 2 walks, 3 hits, 4 runs; Keiser, 2 innings, 2 strikeouts, 1 hit, 1 run; Sheppard, 2 innings, 1 strikeout, 2 walks, 5 hits, 3 runs.

GS vs Tiffin Catholic
The Green Springs Pony League team defeated previously unbeaten Tiffin Catholic White 10-3 in Seneca County Pony League action on Saturday, June 14.
This was the second time in a week that the Green Springs team knocked off an undefeated team in the league. Green Springs reached the midway point of the season with an 8-1 record with their lone loss coming at the hands of the Tiffin Cyclones.
Seth Stockmaster went the distance on the mound for Green Springs pitching all 7 innings for Green Springs. Stockmaster allowed just 2 hits and struck out an impressive 9 Tiffin batters. At the plate, Green Springs was led by Dustin Patten, Zach Prentice and Zach Warner.
Patten had a double and a pair of singles while Prentice and Warner each posted 3 singles for the game. Seth Stockmaster contributed a single and a triple for Green Springs while Andrew Zartman added 2 singles.
Rounding out the Green Springs hitting was Treshawn Murphy and Ryan Meyer who each added a single. On the day, Green Springs posted an impressive 15 hits and hit .429 as a team against previously unbeaten Tiffin. At midseason, Green Springs has outscored their opponents 106 to 32 and have out hit their opponents 105 to 33.
FSI vs T& C
Town & Country RV Center was undefeated until FSI met them Wednesday, June 11 and beat them, 5-0. "Tanner Davenport almost pitched a complete shutout game. In 5 1/3 innings he only had 2 hits, 12 strikeouts and no base on balls", said coach Dave Hisey. Tanner Hisey came in and struck out the last 2 batters. FSI's season record is now 7-4.
Pitching for Town & Country were Brendon Daniels, 5 innings, 9 strikeouts, 1 walk, 4 hits, 4 runs; and Lucas Nicely, 1 inning, 1 strikeout, 1 walk, 1 hit, 1 run.

Steinle vs CFACU
Steinle Chevrolet-Buick fell to Clyde-Findlay Area Credit Union, 9-0, on June 16, in boys major league play.
Pitching for Steinle were Collin Mange, 1 1/3 innings, 3 strikeouts, 6 walks, 1 hit, 7 runs; AJ Uhlman, 1 2/3 innings, 2 strikeouts, 3 walks, 3 hits, 2 runs; and Dominic Sebetto, 2 innings, 2 strikeouts, 1 walk, 4 hits.
Pitching for CFACU was Konner Garcia, 6 innings, 16 strikeouts, 1 walk. Garcia pitched a no hitter game.
Hitting for CFACU were Austin Gill, 3 runs; Konner Garcia, 1 double, 1 HR grand slam, 2 runs, 6 RBIs; and Chad Smetzler, 2 singles.
Whirlpool vs VFW
Whirlpool Corporation beat VFW 16-12, on June 11, in girls major league play.
Pitching for Whirlpool were Kelly Bodi, 3 innings, 3 strikeouts, 7 walks, 10 hits, 8 runs; and Diamin Heberling, 1 inning, 2 strikeouts, 3 walks, 5 hits, 4 runs.
Pitching for VFW were Arcadia Dodson, 2 innings, 3 strikeouts, 2 walks, 11 hits, 8 runs; and MaKaylin Lozier, 2 innings, 3 strikeouts, 3 walks, 12 hits, 8 runs.
Hitting for Whirlpool were Tasha Wood, 2 singles, 1 double; Shania Heberling, 2 doubles, Kelly Bodi, 2 singles, 2 doubles; Ceirra Rodriguez, 2 triples; and Jill Miller, 1 double; Anna Leck, 1 double.

Rod's Car Care lost to Old Fort Banking Co., 10-4, on June 16, in boys minor league play.

Winning pitchers for Arbors were Madison Young with 3 1/2 innings pitched, 7 strike outs, 12 walks, 1 hit, 8 runs and pitcher Megan Chong with 1 1/2 innings pitched, 5 strike outs, 2 walks.

Clyde vs Castalia
Clyde boys pony league team beat Castalia,15-4, on June 17. Jordon Colson had a three-run homer in the 6th inning to end the game due to the run rule. The team will travel to Norwalk on Thursday, June 19.
