Basketball
There will be a boys basketball meeting with head coach Rob Collier, for upcoming grades 3-12, Sunday, June 14th at Oak Harbor High School in the main gym (enter through cafeteria doors).

Gen. Society
The Ottawa County Genealogical Society will meet on Tuesday, June 16, 7:00 p.m. at the Ida Rupp Library community room, 310 Madison Street, Port Clinton. Our speaker will be Elizabeth Vogel, a 4Her who has genealogy for her project. She and her mother will speak about genealogy from a teenager's point of view. We welcome everyone to the meeting, especially young people who want to study their family history.
Log Cabin

On Sunday, June 14, the Brickstreet Strummers will entertain the Oak Harbor Log Cabin crowd. This 12 member group based out of the Pemberville area, specializes in Mountain Dulcimer music. They have been together for eight years, and will play good old standards, that we are sure will bring back some worthwhile memories.
In addition to the music, there will be a history program that will begin at 5:15 p.m. Cheyenne Sims of Sandusky, whose family was of the Lumbee Tribe of North Carolina will demonstrate Indian Hoop Dancing.
Senior Singles meet & mingle
Single Adults, age fifty years of age and older, are invited to attend an evening of fun, games, prizes and the opportunity to meet and mingle with other area singes. The Ottawa County Senior Activities Committee and Riverview HealthCare Campus will host a "Singles Meet & Mingle" on Wednesday, June 17th from 6:30-8:30 pm in the Multi-Purpose Community room of the Campus at 8180 West State Route 163, Oak Harbor. Ida Rupp Public Library hosts two book discussions each month. "The Last Lecture" by Randy Pausch will be discussed Friday, June 26, 2009 at 10:00 am. "Legally Dead" by Edna Buchanan will be discussed Thursday, July 2, 2009, at 7:00 pm. Copies of these titles are available for check out at the library.
