4-H Endowment scholarships announced

Fulton County 4-H announced the following recipients for the 2008 Fulton County 4-H Endowment Scholarships. Members were selected based on their projects, their community activities, their 4-H experiences and career goals.

Recipients of the ten scholarships awarded are Tim Short, Jacob Gombash, Rusty Stechschulte, Rachel Ann Rash, Trishton Rash, Bryce Stilwill, Gina King, Joshua Bruner, Jill Snyder, Emily Schneiderbauer, and Danielle Baker.

Short is the recipient of the Cook Memorial and Recognition Award. Tim is the son of Duane and Roselyn Short, Wauseon. He is a 10 year member of the Wauseon Royal Clovers 4-H Club.

Gombash is the recipient of the Clark Biddle Holstein Scholarship. He is the son of William and Polly Gombash, Swanton and a recent graduate of Swanton High School. He is a 10 year member of the Fulton County Hoofbeats 4-H Club.

Stechschulte is the recipient of the Clair Jones Memorial Scholarship and the Biddle Scholarship for Public Speaking. He is the son of Alan and Jill Stechschulte, Wauseon. Stechschulte is an 11 year member of the Tailwaggers 4-H Club.

Rachel Ann Rash is the recipient of the Biddle Scholarship for H.S. Grads or College Students in Education. She is the daughter of Cale Rash, Jr. and Barbara Rash, Fayette and a graduate of Gorham Fayette High School.

Trishton Rash is the recipient of the Biddle Scholarship for H.S. Grads or College Students in Science & Technology. She is the daughter of Cale Rash Jr. and Barbara Rash, Fayette and is a graduate of Gorham Fayette High School. She is a nine year member of the Country Club 4-H Club.

Stilwill is the recipient of the Biddle Scholarship for Continuing Education. He is the son of Steven and Tammy Peters, Archbold and Roger and Sammera Stilwell. He graduated from Pettisville High School and is a 10 year member of the Pettisville Ever-Ready 4-H Club.

King is the recipient of the Biddle Scholarship for Medical Science and Technology. She is the daughter of Pete and Luana King, Archbold. Her 4-H career included six years as a member of the Brush Creek Kids 4-H Club.

Bruner is the recipient of the Humbert Scholarship for Continuing Education. He is the son of Mark and Jane Bruner, Wauseon. He graduated from Pettisville High School. He is a 10 year member of the Pettisville Ever-Ready 4-H Club.

Snyder is the recipient of the Humbert Scholarship for Continuing Education. She is the daughter of Richard and Kathy Snyder, Delta. She was a ten year member of the Delta Country Gals and Guys 4-H club.

Schneiderbauer is the recipient of the Horse Council Award. She is the daughter of Craig and Judy Schneiderbauer, Whitehouse. Emily is a six year member of the Just for Pleasure 4-H Club.

Baker is the recipient of the Horse Council Award. She is the daughter of Tom and Kim Baker, Swanton and attends Notre Dame Academy. Danielle is a member of the Just for Pleasure 4-H Club and also the Just Raisin' Hare 4-H Club.
