Concerts start June 13

The summer concert series at the Tappan Square Clark Bandstand, sponsored by the Oberlin Chamber of Commerce, will feature free music every Friday evening at 7 p.m. starting June 13.

The summer schedule includes the following:

* June 13: ET King, performing rhythm and blues.

* June 20: Cats on Holiday, performing music influenced by American roots, country, Cajun and blues.

* June 27: Sammy De'Leon, a salsa band.

* July 4: Dan Zola Orchestra, a 19-piece big band.

* July 11: Battle of the Bands.

* July 18: Copper Foot, playing Americana, country and rock.

* July 25: Geeze Cats, a swing band.

* Aug. 1: Tie Dyed Harvest, seventies cover band.

* Aug. 8: Walkin' Cane and Kristine Jackson, blues combo blending jazz, soul, rock and roll.
