New LED stop sign in place

The Danbury trustees and Police Chief Mike Meisler have been working for months to get this LED stop sign at the intersection of Bayshore Road and Danbury North Road. The sign which costs around $1,300 was installed on Friday. Meisler said, "This sign will greatly enhance the safety at this intersection. In the past, there has been many accidents at this intersection. The cross traffic on Bayshore Road does not have to stop, and many people did not obey the stop sign on Danbury North Road." This sign has lights around the perimeter of the sign which constantly blink to make it noticeable. The new LED stop sign was purchased through the Ohio Department of Transportation.
