Orville, Edith Nance mark anniversary

Orville and Edith Nance of Wellington will be celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary. They were married June 15, 1958 at the Pittsfield Congregational Church.

Mr. Nance was born and raised in Glow, Ky., prior to moving to Wellington. He retired from the Ford Motor Company in September, 1992.

Mrs. Nance was born and raised in Pittsfield. After marriage she chose to stay home and raise their three children.

The couple have three children, seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren, all of Wellington.

In observance of their anniversary the children would like to invite family, friends and neighbors to an open house at the Pittsfield Town Hall on Sunday, June 1 from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. The couple request no gifts, only their guests' presence.
