Sineses celebrate 50th anniversary
Congratulations are in order for Delano and Frances Sines of Wellington. Together with family and friends they celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on Oct. 4, 2008, at the Wellington MetroPark hall on Jones Road.
Mr. and Mrs. Sines were married on Oct. 6, 1958, in Accident, Md., which was officiated by the Rev. Ross Speicher. Both were born in Oakland, Md.
Mr. Sines came to Ohio in January 1955 and brought Mrs. Sines as his wife to Ohio in October 1958. They have enjoyed their life in Wellington, working, raising their children, daughters, Marsha (Manning), Glena (Johnson), and son Floyd Sines, along with lifelong friends.
Mr. Sines worked for Pipefitting's, Seaway Bolt, and General Plug. His hobbies and activities include growing a garden, hunting, working in his workshop, and traveling.
Mrs. Sines was employed at Forest City Foam for 37 years. Her hobbies and activities include caring for her family, her church, outings with friends, and traveling with her husband. The couple also enjoy spending time with their grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
