Sunday evening gazebo concerts free to the public; Solid Brass next

The Sunday evening Main Street Wellington concert in the gazebo in front of Town Hall will feature Solid Brass on July 5. The concerts, free to the public, begin at 7 p.m.

Residents are invited to bring lawn chairs and blankets for seating. In the event of rain, the concert will be held across the street at the First Congregational Church, 140 S. Main St.

The concert series is sponsored by the Wellington Eagles.

The series continues on July 12 with Allison Fahler and Friends performing. On July 19, the Sorg Family in Three-Part Harmony will perform; Becky Burkhardt will present "Christmas in July on July 26; and Road Runner will perform classic light rock selections on Aug. 2. The Aug. 9 performer has not been announced. Folktic will present an evening of folk music on Aug. 16, the last concert of the season.
